Nocturnist Physician Assistant

Work Hours: Night shift - 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts. Attending on site. The Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider is a professional with education and training in the primary and emergency medical care of the adult and geriatric populations. The provider is responsible for providing primary care and acute care to hospital inpatients under the direct medical supervision of the Hospitalist Medical Director and/or his designee. Required Physician Assistant - Nationally certified and/or state licensed to provide skills as a Physician Assistant in Pennsylvania with current PA State Supervising physician authority. CPR certification. Must have a Master’s degree or a current Medicare Provider number. DEA Registration. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106. Must possess ability to work autonomously. Preferred Two or more years of hospitalist experience. ACLS and PALS certification is encouraged.
