Student Laboratory Aide 1 - Cell & Molecular Biology

About Us: This position will help student employees demonstrate and cultivate the career readiness competencies in accordance with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).

Responsibilities: We are seeking a first- or second-year student with an interest or background in science to assist with undergraduate teaching laboratories in the Cell and Molecular Biology Department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing and setting up materials for laboratory classes, cleaning and maintaining laboratory materials and equipment, washing glassware, stocking laboratory supplies, computer data entry and record maintenance, and assisting laboratory staff as needed. The ideal candidate will be reliable, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks. No prior laboratory experience is required; we will provide training in all skills needed for the position. Preferred availability is Monday, Tuesday, Friday mornings, and/or Thursday afternoons.
