Head of Design

Overview In this role, you lead design strategy and execution across Narmi’s product suite, shaping a cohesive user experience for fintech customers. You’ll manage and mentor a 3–5 designer team, driving scalable processes and design systems. You collaborate with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to align design with business goals and user needs. Compensation / Benefitsbase salary + equity option grantperformance-based bonusesfull benefits packagerelocation assistance for eligible candidates Responsibilities Define and execute a unified design vision across products aligned with Product Management and Engineering Lead, mentor and develop a team of 3–5 Product Designers Establish and optimize design processes, methodologies, and design systems for scalability Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure design supports GTM and customer needs Recruit, manage and develop design talent while promoting inclusive practices Align design strategies with executive objectives and technical constraints to meet business goals and user needs Key requirements Proven experience building and leading design teams, preferably in SaaS or metric-driven products Experience shaping product strategy at an executive level and aligning stakeholders on design vision Strong mentorship history with growth paths for designers Broad portfolio demonstrating diverse design skills and trends Experience with user research and applying insights to design decisions Proficient in Figma and other design tools; strong communication skillsleadershipmentorshipstrategic thinking Figmadesign systemsuser research
