Sales Coordinator

Location: Naperville, IL Schedule: Hybrid Employment Type: Direct Hire Compensation: USD $55,000/yr base salary + annual bonus

About the Opportunity: Our manufacturing client is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join their team in Naperville, IL. This is a direct-hire, hybrid opportunity supporting a growing sales organization within the foodservice manufacturing industry. The Sales Coordinator will serve as a key connection point between customers, sales representatives, regional managers, internal teams, and external vendors. The primary focus will be supporting Regional Managers with quotes, orders, custom projects, and day-to-day sales activities. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and calculate pricing for custom projects. Support custom product sales from initial quote through order completion. Direct sales leads to appropriate Sales Representatives and Regional Managers. Partner closely with assigned Regional Managers and Sales Representatives. Assist Regional Managers with day-to-day sales activities and customer needs. Monitor sales leads and provide reporting to the Director of Sales. Respond to customer and Sales Representative inquiries in a timely manner. Create purchase orders and material transfers for custom projects and vendor requirements. Communicate with customers regarding product specifications and project details. Prepare customer quotations using Auto Quotes. Maintain and update the Project Tracker on a daily basis. Prepare territory and National Account sales reports. Develop sales and business analysis reports as needed. Maintain and manage Representative sample accounts. Coordinate quarterly objectives between Regional Managers and Representatives. Attend industry trade shows as needed. Project-manage multiple orders involving a variety of vendors. Assist with inventory/stock checks and sample requests. Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, product offerings, and order issues. Troubleshoot vendor and order-related issues and communicate solutions to the appropriate parties. Complete other duties and projects as assigned by management. Ensure assigned tasks and projects are completed accurately and on schedule.

Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and business systems. Experience with Auto Quotes or similar quoting software is a plus. Previous experience in manufacturing, foodservice, distribution, sales support, customer service, or project coordination is preferred. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a broader sales and operations team. Compensation & Bonus The company offers a USD $55,000/year salary plus an annual bonus opportunity.
