Optometric Assistant (FT) | Optometry | Marshalltown | 2026-241

Responsibilities include: Prepares patients for exams. Takes visual acuity and preforms basic screening tests, educates patients, refills medications and performs ancillary tests. Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PMExperienceOphthalmic experience preferred but not required/ on the job training available. Excellent customer service skills and willing to be able to multi-task. Keyboard and computer experience. One year of work experience in medical office setting preferred. Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
