Base pay range $70.00/hr - $85.00/hr Role location Location:Pleasanton, CA or Vacaville, CA (Local to Bay Area – must be able to visit office as needed - Hybrid) Responsibilities We are seeking aNetwork Architectwith deep experience inenterprise network infrastructure, cloud networking, andnetwork security. This role involves hands-on architecture, implementation, and support of network solutions across on-prem and cloud environments. Hands-on expertise withF5 WAF and Load Balancers Strong experience withAWS networking(VPC, EC2, ELB, Transit Gateway) Implementation ofDDoS solutions(Cloudflare or Akamai) Management of Palo Alto Global Protect VPN Experience with Cloudflare DDoS, Palo Alto, Cisco, and AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Route 53, Cloud Formation) VOIP networking and SIP trunking Scripting and automation (e.g., Ansible, Python ) Design and implement secure, high-performance network infrastructure Manage projects from design to deployment Lead network architecture planning and documentation Troubleshoot performance, security, and connectivity issues Collaborate cross-functionally to support enterprise initiatives Provide 24/7 supportand participate in capacity planning Mentor and support junior engineers Deep understanding ofdata center, collocation, andMPLSnetworks Qualifications Experience in enterprise network infrastructure, cloud networking, and network security Hands-on networking with AWS (VPC, EC2, ELB, Transit Gateway) Experience with DDoS solutions (Cloudflare or Akamai) and DDoS protection Knowledge of Palo Alto Global Protect VPN, Cloudflare DDoS, Cisco, and AWS services VOIP networking and SIP trunking Automation scripting (Ansible, Python) Strong problem-solving, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration Data center, colocation, and MPLS networking understanding Employment details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Information Technology Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting, Financial Services, and Banking Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Compunnel Inc. by 2x Get notified about new Network Architect jobs in San Francisco Bay Area.
