POSITION OVERVIEW:
Operating within the observability and platform engineering department and reporting to the Engineering Director, this role solves the critical business challenge of designing, integrating, and maintaining enterprise monitoring dashboards and automated reporting solutions. The incumbent will bridge data sources with stakeholder insights, ensuring optimized performance and governance across distributed enterprise systems.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive enterprise Grafana dashboards for infrastructure, applications, databases, cloud, and business KPIs.
- Integrate Grafana with diverse data sources such as Prometheus and Splunk while developing custom queries using SQL, PromQL, LogQL, and Elasticsearch Query DSL.
- Automate Grafana deployments and configuration management utilizing Infrastructure as Code tooling like Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes.
- Build automated reporting solutions and reusable dashboard templates, variables, and panel libraries for operational and business stakeholders.
- Configure enterprise security standards including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), alerting workflows, and authentication mechanisms (LDAP, Active Directory, OAuth, SAML, Azure AD).
