About the role
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Design Engineer will bridge product design and frontend engineering to create polished, production-quality experiences, collaborating closely with teams to ensure high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Key responsibilities:
Translate design intent into polished production experiences while maintaining a high bar for layout, typography, interaction, and accessibility
Write clear, maintainable frontend code and make thoughtful technical and design trade-offs throughout the implementation process
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure quality and effectiveness in delivering customer value through product features
Required qualifications:
Proven experience in building substantial production UI within complex product environments
Strong design judgment with the ability to make informed decisions in ambiguous situations
Expertise in modern frontend development practices, including state management and performance optimization
Familiarity with design systems and the ability to contribute to their evolution
Experience using modern development tools, including AI-assisted development, to enhance workflow efficiency
