Project Consultant – Sales Position Type: W2 Employee

Base Salary: $70,000 annual salary + uncapped Commission Travel Required: As necessary
Language Requirement: Bilingual – English/Spanish required Job Overview As a Hoover Project Sales Consultant, you are the face of the company and often the customer’s first point of contact. You play an important role throughout the entire sales process, helping guide each project from the initial opportunity through completion. This is a multifaceted role that requires clear communication, strong coordination, and the ability to respond to the changing needs of each project. Project Consultants work closely with customers and the Hoover team to keep information accurate and projects moving forward. Responsibilities throughout the sales process include lead generation, pricing, preparing new sales orders, assist with permitting, customer approvals, coordination with production, project updates, completion follow-up, and more Job Responsibilities Present, promote and sell products/services using solid reasoning to existing and prospective customers Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships Reach out to potential customers through cold calling & visiting potential sites unannounced Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends Maintain accurate records and data Complete ownership of the sales process, procedures, and systems Continuously improve through feedback Managing general contractor base Job Qualifications – Required Three years minimum of similar work experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office products Understanding of construction standards Problem solving skills General knowledge of awning industry, fabrication & installation Project management skills Good communication skills Valid driver’s license in good standing Bilingual – English/Spanish required Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of, and established relationships with General Contractors Experience collaborating with General Contractors and solid understanding of their processes and operations with projects Requirements Non-Compete Non-Solicitation Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreement Vehicle Use Agreement Additional Compensation Commission on sales above monthly quota with bonus for exceeding Tier Sales Goals Vehicle allowance for business use Fuel card up to $100 per week Cell phone / computer Standard company contribution to Health Insurance 401K Matching as offered by Hoover
