About the Role:
The Company is seeking an Area Vice President for National Accounts to lead a team of Regional Account Executives within a designated region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing targeted sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals. This role requires a strong leader with a competitive spirit, a proven track record in sales management, and the ability to build and maintain positive business partnerships. The Area Vice President will also be involved in the hiring, training, and development of sales talent, as well as collaborating with Operations and Field Sales leadership to execute business strategies. Applicants for the Area Vice President, National Accounts position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of sales and sales management experience, with a background in a complex selling environment. The role demands an individual with exceptional communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills, who can effectively influence and drive sales. The candidate must be adept at selling the total company value proposition and be proficient in Microsoft Office and contact management databases. A key aspect of the role is the ability to sell on the value of a product, not just the cost, and to leverage the strengths of all sectors.
