Senior Engineering Management Specialist - DevOps Engineer

Overview In this Senior Dev Ops-focused role within Deloitte’s Industry Solutions team, you’ll design and run cloud-based platforms that enable client digital initiatives. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable infrastructure, reliable CI/CD, and secure operations on AWS and Open Shift. Your impact spans deployment, automation, and troubleshooting to support growth, innovation, and mission-critical systems. Responsibilities Deploy and optimize AWS infrastructure including Open Shift clusters Build and operate CI/CD pipelines with Git Lab Runners for automated builds and deployments Monitor platform health and security, addressing reliability issues Manage AWS services and components (Batch, Secrets Manager, SNS, S3, Cloud Trail, Route 53, Cloud Front, ALB, Lambda, Step Functions)Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot, improve workflows, and maintain documentation Lead projects or workstreams and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Provide clear guidance and maintain professional working relationships Key requirements Bachelor’s degree 5+ years in Dev Ops roles supporting AWS environments 1+ years provisioning, deploying, and managing AWS environments and solving cloud infra issues 1+ years building, maintaining, and executing deployment scripts across environments 1+ years experience with Red Hat Open Shift, Docker, Git Lab Runners, and listed AWS services Ability to work independently and in a team Effective written and verbal communication Meticulous attention to detail Red Hat Open Shift Docker Git Lab Runners
