About the role

Job Description: Bring your passion for inclusive education to a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher near Mission Viejo, CA. Serve elementary students in grades K-3 with mild to moderate needs in an engaging, supportive environment from now through June 10, 2027. Collaborate with dedicated professionals as you help young learners build foundational skills and confidence.
Key Qualifications:
  • Valid and active CTC license in Special Education, Mild to Moderate
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-3) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP process, accommodations, and differentiated instruction
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Deliver engaging instruction in small groups and individually for a caseload of elementary students (mild/moderate)
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Utilize data-driven methods to track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
