About the role

Southeast RSM - Pharma & Life Sciences - Pure Water South-eastern United States | Remote, with regional travel We are partnering with an established international provider of high-purity water and clean-utility solutions to appoint a Regional Sales Manager for the South-eastern United States. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically credible sales professional with experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life-sciences manufacturers. The successful candidate will take responsibility for developing new business and managing strategic customer relationships across a territory that includes Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.
Key responsibilities will include: Identifying and closing capital-equipment opportunities for pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications Developing relationships with end users, engineering firms, consultants and general contractors Selling standard and custom-engineered high-purity water solutions Managing opportunities from initial technical discussions through proposal, negotiation and contract award Growing relationships with Tier 1 pharmaceutical and multinational customers Supporting the renewal and development of preventative-maintenance and aftermarket agreements Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts and activity through CRMCollaborating with engineering, project and field-service teams throughout the customer lifecycle We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have: At least five years of technical sales or business-development experience Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology or wider life-sciences manufacturing Knowledge of high-purity water, purified water, Water for Injection, distillation, pure steam or sterilisation systemsA track record of selling capital equipment or complex engineered solutions Existing relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, EPCs or engineering consultants The ability to interpret technical requirements and develop commercially viable solutionsA willingness to travel regularly throughout the SoutheastA bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline would be advantageous but is not essential where candidates can demonstrate strong industry experience.
