Application Developer (Manufacturing Systems)

Application Development & Enhancement: Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET, and related technologies. Develop and enhance tools and utilities to support manufacturing operations. Write and maintain REST API integrations between internal systems (MES, ERP, shop-floor systems).Perform code reviews, debugging, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality delivery. Support system upgrades, patches, and feature enhancements.

Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, IT infrastructure, and global counterparts (including teams in Japan).Clearly communicate technical findings, risks, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Maintain documentation for applications, databases, and integration processes. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift 10-25 pounds if needed. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision and hearing.

Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in application development and IT systems support. Strong hands-on experience with:

• C#, .NET Framework / .NET CoreSQL Server (query writing, stored procedures, database design)REST API development and integration
• Experience developing automation scripts using Python or similar languages.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment or supporting manufacturing systems (MES/MOM preferred).Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience integrating MES and ERP systems. Knowledge of Linux or Raspberry Pi environments (plus).Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and ticketing systems. Experience working in global or cross-cultural teams. Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese.
