As a Van Driver with Envive of Brookville, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients and residents, all while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate assigned motor vehicles to ensure timely and efficient transportation of patients
  • Develop strong relationships with patients and residents, providing exceptional care and support
  • Assist ambulatory and non-ambulatory individuals enter and leave the vehicle, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Monitor and maintain the vehicle's condition, reporting any issues or concerns to supervisory personnel
  • Record and document each bus trip, including passenger attendance, mileage, and time
  • Perform basic maintenance functions, including checking lights, fluid levels, and tire pressure
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Certified Nurse AideBasic knowledge of methods and techniques used to load, secure, and unload passengers from a motor vehicle
  • Skill in the operation and basic maintenance of assigned motor vehicle
  • Ability to follow oral/written instructions, keep accurate records, and establish effective working relationships
  • Ability to lift, maneuver, and support materials up to 80 pounds
  • Possession of a valid driver's license 6-12 months of work experience operating, loading, and unloading a motor vehicle
