Patient Care Associate I - Psych

Department: Psychiatric Unit Work Hours: 40 hours per week; primarily night shift 11p-7a; rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled. Provides basic patient care for the psychiatric patient appropriate to the age, culture, and developmental needs of the patient and under the direction of a registered nurse. Provides assistance with daily living tasks as appropriate.

Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. Excellent bedside manner and customer service skills. BCLS.Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Preferred Previous nursing assistant experience on a medical/surgical or psychiatric unit. Computer skills. Certified nurse assistant.
