Quality Assurance Inspector Sheet Metal, Machined Parts and Electro‑Mechanical Assemblies
Summary:
Our client seeks a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to support inspections of sheet‑metal parts, machined components, and electro‑mechanical assemblies. You’ll perform incoming, in‑process, and final inspections; verify dimensions; review drawings/GD&T; and ensure all products meet customer and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect sheet‑metal, machined, and electro‑mechanical assemblies
- Perform dimensional checks using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools
- Review engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions
- Identify defects, workmanship issues, and non‑conformances
- Document inspection results and support corrective actions
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of manufacturing quality inspection experience
- Strong ability to read drawings and GD&TProficiency with precision measurement tools
- Experience with CMM, Fabrivision, or other vision‑based inspection systems a plus
- Experience with mechanical and electro‑mechanical assemblies
- Familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100 environments a plus
