Controls Engineer

Controls/Electrical Engineer. This job is responsible for the design, detailing, and support of the controls for equipment with the support and guidance of the entire team. What’s a Typical Day Like? Design the control and electrical schemes for automated equipment, including panel layouts, power, control, communication distribution, and schematics Create bills of material Assist with installation at customer's facilities Assist in FAT/Prototype assembly/builds/troubleshooting 15-25% travel required What Are the Requirements of the Job? 3-5 years of engineering design experience Experience with PLCs - preferred Siemens and AB CAD experience - AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, E-Plan Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Equipment experience or Industrial, Construction, Manufacturing experience Panel building experience PLC, RFID, Proximity Switch knowledge/experience
