Sorting Machine OperatorSWD Inc. opened for business in March 1980 with three employees in a 9,000 sq. ft. leased facility and began black oxiding, cleaning, and pickling operations with used equipment. In late 1980, the company began passivating stainless steel and in 1981 purchased Fastener Sorting Corporation. Today, a recognized leader in the Metal Finishing and Fastener Sorting fields, SWD Inc. has over 250 employees and runs three shifts per day in its 250,000 sq. ft. facility just west of Chicago in Addison, Illinois.

SWD is a Drug-Free workplace. All job offers are contingent on successful completion of a Background Check, Drug Screen, and Pre-Employment Physical. Job Details We are seeking a full-time entry-level Sorting Machine Operator for 3rd Shift.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 11 pm- 7am with overtime on weekends as business needs demand. The starting pay is $19.50 per hour. New employees will receive performance evaluations and potential raises at 60 Days, 6 Months, and 12 Months, then annually each year after that. Responsibilities/
Duties:
Comprehend shop order instructions. Perform sample testing as required. Use a digital caliper. Determine if the machine output is correct. Keep assigned machines and work area clean. Use a recess penetration gauge. Be able to recognize under and over-feeding of parts. Understand basic machine functions. Drive a lift truck.
Qualifications:
This is an Entry Level Machine Operator position (training provided!)GED or High School Diploma (preferred not required)Ability to lift 40lbs Manufacturing experience preferred You must be available to work weekends
