seeking a Financial Analyst III to join its lean and highly collaborative finance team. This individual will serve as a key business partner supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, accounting operations, and strategic decision-making. This role combines traditional FP&A responsibilities with hands-on accounting and operational finance support. The team is specifically seeking someone who can contribute immediately while also demonstrating the leadership potential to eventually move into a Finance Manager-level position.
Position Responsibilities:
- Position DutiesFP&A & Strategic Finance
- Lead and support annual budgeting activities
- Develop rolling forecasts and long-range financial projections
- Build and maintain financial models
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis
- Analyze actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior-year performance
- Support P&L management and profitability analysis
- Prepare executive and management reporting packages
- Present financial findings and recommendations to leadership
- Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly financial reporting
- Develop quarterly reporting and payout schedules
- Perform operational and financial performance analysis
- Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve business performance
- Create ad hoc financial and operational analyses as needed
- Accounting & Operational Finance
- Assist with AP processing and AP cleanup initiatives
- Prepare and analyze accruals
- Support month-end close activities
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure reporting accuracy and financial data integrity
- Business Partnership
- Partner closely with the CFO, Finance Manager, and operational leadership
- Collaborate across departments to improve processes and reporting
- Support strategic initiatives and organizational growth
- Serve as a trusted finance partner to business stakeholders
