Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Qualifications: Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Satisfactory completion of an Associate of Science Degree in Nuclear Medicine from an AMA approved program which meets the requirements for certification by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT). Qualified applicant must also have certification by ARRT and/or NMTCB, and Licensure from the Florida DOH. Preferred CT Certification by ARRT and/or NMTCB and Licensure by Florida DOH.Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purposeNOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobilea) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered by the ARRT (RT (N)) or the NMTCB (CNMT) and licensed by the State of Florida DOH as a Certified Radiologic Technologist. Preferred registry by the ARRT (RT (CT)) or the NMTCB (CT) and licensed by the State of Florida DOH.
