Senior Software Engineer

OVERVIEW: OnTrac is seeking highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineers to join a contractor program supporting a healthcare / pharmacy benefit management (PBM) customer. The customer is staffing a team of three to four engineers to build REST API integrations with its Databricks data platform. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who has moved clinical and pharmacy data between systems using healthcare interoperability standards, can write production code in both Python and C#/.NET, and can become productive on a customer codebase with minimal ramp-up. The successful candidates will work closely with the Lead Software Engineer, the delivery team, and customer stakeholders to ensure project success from initial definition through final delivery. ENGAGEMENTOpenings: two to three Senior Software Engineers, working alongside one Lead Software Engineer Location: United States, fully remoteREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience delivering software in the healthcare industry; pharmacy benefit management (PBM) experience strongly preferred Hands-on experience designing and building REST APIs and system-to-system integrations Hands-on experience with Databricks, including building pipelines and integrating external services with the platform Working knowledge of healthcare data standards: HL7 and CDA / C-CDA documents Experience building data movement and orchestration with Azure Data Factory Experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance (or SQL Server), including schema design and query tuning Production development in Python Production development in C# /.
