Secret Network Admin Day Watch

Job Description: Insight Global is looking for a Network Admin to join one of our clients in Virginia Beach, VA. The Network Administrator – Nightwatch ensures 24/7 network availability. Working within the Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC), you will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot multi-classification LAN, WAN, and VPN infrastructure.

Responsibilities include: Plan, evaluate, and coordinate installation or reconfiguration of data and voice communication hardware/software. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues—WAN circuits, equipment failures, router/switch configurations, firewall access control lists, VoIP device registration, and cryptographic device keying. Coordinate with Navy, DISA, and commercial carriers for circuit implementation and fault resolution. Ensure Information Assurance compliance through IOS upgrades, device configuration changes, and firewall ACL verifications. Monitor network performance and conduct short- and long-range capacity planning. Develop and maintain network documentation and standard operating procedures. Propose cost-effective network design enhancements based on current usage and future requirements. Coordinate third-party maintenance and restoration support at remote sites.

Compensation: $43/hr to 50/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
