Overview:
$21.75 / hour The starting rate for a Level I Apprentice is$21.75/hour(50% of the current Journeyman rate of$43.50/hour ). Rates increase as apprentices progress through the 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) apprenticeship program, up to the full journeyman rate. This is a year-round, full-time career opportunity with benefits in the Canada's Wonderland Ride Maintenance Department.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
The ideal candidate is a team-oriented individual with a solid track record working in a rides environment. SCOPE OF POSITION:The successful candidates will have proven skills with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, hydraulics and pneumatics and will have the ability to problem solving and work independently.
Responsibilities:
Install new equipment
Rebuild and or repair equipment as specified
Maintain all required service records and logs
Make recommendations for improvements, modification, upgrades and report to Foreman/Supervisor on a timely basis
Assist with major overhauls, modifications and alterations as required
Ensure the safe operation of each work area and each work project.
