You'll be part of the Amazon warehouse team as an equipment operator Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.- operating order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, and other powered industrial trucks (PIT) to handle customer orders safely and efficiently. You'll use PIT equipment to unload and load trailers, store pallets, and retrieve pallets throughout the warehouse. What you'll do:
Operate PIT- such as order pickers and reach trucks; Use PIT to locate, retrieve, and store large pallets of items in their designated warehouse locations; Handle large pallets of items through multiple warehouse processes, such as store and pick, while operating PIT; Operate a stand-up forklift throughout your shift, maneuvering safely around other PIT equipment xxoysbn in motion; Safely move items using carts, dollies, and pallet jacks while loading and unloading trailers; Use handheld technology to track and maintain accurate inventory records; Amazon provides all PIT training and certification for free, so no prior experience is required.
