About the role

X-ray Technologist Contract Opportunity Seeking a skilled X-ray Technologist to provide imaging services for a 13-week contract assignment beginning in late November. This role requires a detail-oriented professional comfortable performing radiological exams as part of a collaborative clinical team, with a focus on patient safety and care quality.
Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, Saturday through Wednesday
No on-call hours Scheduled holidays required if falling on workdays
Qualifications:
  • Valid ARRT certification and active BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-ray Technologist
  • Prior experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system preferred
  • Must live at least 50 miles outside of Memphis, TN to comply with the radius rule
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and technical skills
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by medical staff
  • Ensure proper patient positioning, shielding, and safety throughout each exam
  • Accurately document procedures and patient information within EPIC, if applicable
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to support patient diagnosis and care
  • Maintain equipment, promptly report malfunctions, and adhere to all safety and infection control standards
  • Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout the imaging process
