About the role

D365 Business Central Consultant (Finance) Contract - $80/hr C2CRemote with minimal travel - USA only (EST & CST preferred)

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Functional Consultant to join a growing team on a contract basis. This is a flexible, ongoing engagement with variable hours - ramping up and down depending on project demand - ideal for an independent consultant comfortable working autonomously across multiple client engagements.

What You'll Do:

Lead or support full-cycle BC finance implementations from requirements gathering through to post go-live support
Configure and deploy core finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and Budgets
Conduct discovery workshops, fit-gap analysis and requirements documentation with client stakeholders
Design and execute data migration strategies from legacy systems into Business Central
Develop and deliver end-user training, SOPs and functional documentation
Lead UAT planning, test script development and cutover activities
Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations

What We're Looking For:

5-7+ years of hands-on Business Central or Dynamics NAV implementation experience with a strong finance module focus
Full life-cycle implementation experience across multiple client engagements
Strong client-facing communication skills - comfortable presenting to C-suite and non-technical audiences
Analytical mindset with proven ability to translate business requirements into BC solutions
Willingness to travel to client and partner office locations when requiredUS-based, EST or CST time zone preferred

Bonus Points:

MB-800 Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant
Experience with manufacturing, distribution or warehouse configurations
Hands-on experience with ISVs including Power BI, eOne Popdock/Smart
Connect, Binary Stream, Insight Works, Continia or Avalara**US Citizens & GC holders only / No Third-Parties
