Commercial and Multifamily Acquisitions

Role Description: The Commercial and Multifamily Acquisitions role is a full-time, on-site position located in Virginia Beach, VA. Remote candidates still considered. This role is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and underwriting commercial and multifamily investment opportunities, including market research, financial modeling, and preparation of investment summaries. Daily tasks include coordinating property tours, gathering and analyzing due diligence materials, assisting with transaction negotiations, and supporting the closing process. The position also involves maintaining relationships with brokers, owners, lenders, and external partners, as well as collaborating with internal asset management, accounting, and property management teams to ensure smooth handoff of acquired assets. The role requires consistent documentation, reporting, and communication to support informed investment decisions and portfolio performance.

Qualifications: Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with internal teams, brokers, owners, and other stakeholders. Sales and Purchasing capabilities to support deal sourcing, negotiations, and acquisition transactions. Account Management skills to maintain and grow relationships with key partners, lenders, and service providers. Proficiency in financial analysis, underwriting, and real estate valuation, including use of spreadsheets and modeling tools. Knowledge of commercial and multifamily real estate markets, ideally in the mid-Atlantic and southern U.S. regions. Ideal candidate would work on-site full time in Virginia, VA, and manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Economics, or a related field; relevant work experience in real estate acquisitions or investments is preferred. Strong organizational skills, professional ethics, and the ability to collaborate in a team-focused investment environment.
