We are looking for a Facilities Technician to join our U.S. Headquarters. 5 years relevant facilities HVAC, RO and DI water systems, Waste Water Treatment and Electrical experience
An understanding and experience with systems such as chiller/boiler, cooling water, chemical/slurry systems is a plus.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings, technical manuals, and operations specifications is a plus.
Self-motivated and results oriented.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform daily rounds, inspecting equipment and work areas for any mechanical/electrical problems or safety hazards.
Ensure that all safety procedures are followed.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on facilities systems such as water systems, (RODI) boilers, chillers, air handlers, vacuum systems, pumps, exhaust systems, acid waste neutralization systems etc.
Utilize Central Monitoring System (CMS) to monitor system status and alarms.
Work with outside contractors as required to perform repairs and calibrations to building/equipment.
Prioritize and work multiple tasks.
Troubleshooting down facilities equipment as necessary. This position is a Monday through Friday on-site position with a pay range of $34.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
