Dental Assistant
Location: Southern Dental Birmingham
Position Type: Full-Time
Southern Dental Birmingham is seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team! We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. Schedule Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patients
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
- Assist with documenting patient information and treatment notes
- Support the clinical team in delivering exceptional patient care
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical chairside dental assisting experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- X-ray certification preferred
