Position: Contract

Interview Process:

Video, 2 rounds, 1 round will be highly technical
Summary of the project/initiative: AWS postgres performance analysis. Upgrading Postgres 11 to 14 and the impacts of that change.
Describe the team: Team of 4-6 technical leads, architects, and devops
Break-down of the team: 1 PO, 2 Arch, 2 Tech Leads, 2 DevOpsTop 5-10 responsibilities:
Performance Analysis of our current instances (10 OLTP instances/Microservices Architecture)
Database Monitoring of Cluster
ScalabilityUnderstanding Load, understanding impact of growth
Replication (Surest is using Debezium for CDC)
Query Tuning
Identify High volume SQL, Identify high impact SQL, Indexing
Ideal candidate background: Experienced with AWS Aurora Postgres database administration. Experience tuning SQL queries. Experience with Hibernate query patterns.
Skills/attributes required: 5 years AWS Aurora Postgres DBA. 5 years SQL tuning. Experience with AWS replication.
Skills/attributes preferred: Use of Debezium for CDC.
