Marketing - Marketing Professional

Overview As a Marketing Professional at HOK, you’ll craft RFIs, RFPS, and visually compelling materials that showcase the firm’s capabilities. You’ll partner with marketing managers and practice leaders to shape proposal strategy, manage timelines, and produce high-quality submittals and presentations. You’ll drive the creation of marketing resources, coordinate cross-office inputs, and maintain databases and collateral. This role blends storytelling, graphic design, and precise technical writing to support client engagements and win work. You’ll join a collaborative team that values client service and creative problem-solving. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage preparation of marketing proposals, presentations, and submittals Ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposals, qualifications packages, and presentations Collaborate with marketing managers, management committee, and practice leaders on proposal priorities Gather prospect information and contribute to proposal strategy in support of principals Draft initial mock-ups and write portions of proposals as needed Establish timelines and assign tasks to complete effective submittals Maintain marketing materials and data assets (brochures, slides, photos, files, database)Produce responses to government forms and client questionnaires; edit technical answers Oversee marketing files and submittal archives; maintain resumes and project data Prepare client presentation materials following Corporate Image Program and Desktop Publishing guidelines Coordinate with vendors and consultants for data transfer, reprographics, binding, etc. Produce status reports on marketing efforts and assist with conferences/presentations Ensure marketing supplies and equipment are ready for use and travel-ready Attend pre-proposal conferences and marketing events; provide client service support Foster a culture of external and internal client service Key requirements Bachelor in Marketing or related field; 5+ years of marketing experience in architecture, interior design, engineering, construction, or real estate development Strong written and verbal communication; technical writing ability Detail-oriented with excellent time management and multitasking skills Proficiency in MS Office; Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) preferred Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing workloads Experience coordinating cross-office teams and vendor management Knowledge of proposal processes and source data management Excellent communication abilities Strong editing and proofreading Collaborative mindsetMS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)Technical writing and proposal development
