Details Operating Room unit setting Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM Weekend work required Rotating weekend on-call and late call until 7 PM Monday-Thursday, plus Friday night call rotation May float to other surgical specialties Holiday coverage required Epic charting system used Requirements Active LA RN license or Compact license required at time of consideration BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Prior travel RN experience required (no first-time travelers) Required surgical experience: Robotics, Neuro, Plastics, and Ortho surgery Preferred surgical experience: Cardiovascular Epic charting experience required At least two recent manager references required Additional Information Perform circulating and/or scrub RN duties across multiple surgical specialties including gynecology, plastics, neurology, cardiovascular, general surgery, orthopedics, and robotics procedures Completion of facility-specific pre-start education modules required, which may range from 5-8 hours and vary by specialty Local candidates within 75 miles accepted at local rate Permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment Any license hits must be disclosed at time of consideration along with a personal statement American Traveler Job ID P-.
