Security Network Engineer

Responsibilities: Manage and optimize secure network infrastructure across data center switching, routing, and firewall platforms. Administer firewall environments and centralized policy management tools to maintain strong security controls and network availability. Monitor network performance and security events, identify issues proactively, and drive timely resolution of incidents. Support day-to-day operations for a compact but critical infrastructure environment with a focus on stability and efficiency. Implement configuration changes, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities across core networking components. Use network monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds to track health, capacity, and performance trends. Contribute technical expertise on Cisco-based environments, including Nexus platforms where applicable. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and remote teams to ensure dependable support coverage during Pacific Time business hours.
