Industrials/Aerospace & Defense Associate

Responsibilities: Support LBO financing, M&A transactions, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments within the Industrials sector. Develop complex financial models, including LBO, DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses. Evaluate leveraged transaction structures, debt financing alternatives, acquisition opportunities, and investment returns. Prepare investment presentations, pitch books, CIMs, and transaction materials. Conduct financial due diligence, company analysis, and industry research, particularly within Industrials and Aerospace & Defense. Coordinate with clients, investors, lenders, and advisors throughout transaction execution.

Qualifications: Ideally 2 years in an investment banking analyst program at a mid-sized to large U.S. investment bank, followed by 2 years in private equity. Alternatively, 3+ years of relevant investment banking experience, preferably in Industrials or Generalist coverage. Aerospace & Defense sector experience highly desirable. Strong LBO modeling, leveraged finance, valuation, and transaction execution capabilities. Exposure to both public and private market transactions preferred. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience supporting live transactions. Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
