Fixture Assembler

We are looking for an enthusiastic Fixture Assembler to join our team. You’ll be part of a talented group that collaborates to deliver world class products to our customers. This role will fabricate and assemble products using precision instruments, hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment. Additionally, you will read and interpret work orders and related documentation to determine methods and sequence of operations and dimensional and finish specifications. Shift available: Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pmA variety of these traits will help land you this job. If you have:a High school diploma or GED requiredexperience in the Fabrication field is a plusan understanding of a variety of substrates On top of that you must:possess a strong knowledge of electronics, along with general computer knowledgebe able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilitieshave the ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your own work in a fast-paced environmentbe able to work unsupervised, make decisions independently, and solve problems effectively and creativelydisplay a high level of customer service, responding promptly and thoroughly to the inquiries and needs of the organizationunderstand and maintain the confidential nature of customer and company informationshow professional knowledge, proficiency and initiative in achieving goals and meeting company standardshave the ability to lift 50 pounds In this position, you will:assist the Fixture Assembly Leads with job setupswork with a computer to update the software and firmware of electronic hardwaremaintain specifications by observing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processesverify settings by measuring positions, first run, part and sample workpiecesmeet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity and qualityperform work within drawing specifications and job notesperform duties in other areas within the Fixture Assembly areaperform other duties as assigned by management To get hired at The Bernard Group, you MUST be:able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
