Job Description: Bedford Public Schools Temporary Computer Technician October- December 2026 Qualifications: Knowledge of Microsoft, iOS and ChromeOS operating systems with strong problem resolution skills Experience in hardware and software installations and troubleshooting Strong interpersonal and communication skills Successful completion of a Criminal Records Check (C.O.R.I.)
Description: To provide service and support to students and district employees; district-owned hardware, software and peripherals; district subscription services
Performance Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance of equipment and upgrades to software Install and troubleshoot software while adhering to license requirements Install, configure, repair and troubleshoot computers, mobile devices and peripherals Maintain accurate inventory records of equipment, warranties and software licenses Prioritize tech tickets, find resolutions and document repair solutions Maintain department documentation with updated procedures, troubleshooting andproblem-solving resolutions May be asked to manage: iOS devices through MDM solutions Chrome devices through the Google Admin Console Application deployment to mobile devices Perform any other such duties as may be assigned by the Director of Information Systems and/or the Director of Technology and Library Media Essential Functions of the Job: Establish and maintain positive interactions with students, school personnel and community members Present information in a clear and concise manner Consult and collaborate with Technology Department members Demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness to solve problems Independently organize and prioritize multiple demands while performing duties and tasks at expected levels of professionalism Learn new systems and technology to meet changing demands Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Reports to: Director of Information Systems Work Year: 12 month position
