Fund Finance Associate opening with a $60B AUM Private Equity Fund in NYC. This role is open as someone moved internally into a front office seat. They are selectively hiring a fast-track, hard working, go getter who wants to elevate their career in a dynamic role with a ton of exposure. Firm Info: 150 employees, lean and high-caliber team 5 days in office (4 days in summer) Very competitive benefits, all fully covered Breakfast and lunch in office paid for, snack pantry, free gym in building Team described as a “CFO Training Center” — A-players only, exposure to all facets of the business
Responsibilities:
- Support capital formation, valuations, and transaction closes for the deal team
- Fund finance across the PE platform — only 30% traditional fund accounting (grunt work outsourced to Citco)
- Mini-CFO style role with broad exposure across the firm
- Report directly to a senior leader with a strong track record of developing talent
- Ideal Profile: 3–6 years of experience
- CPA preferred
- Open to PE, credit, or hedge fund backgrounds — candidate quality matters most
- Strong fund accountants looking for a broader, more dynamic seat
