Construction Sales Account Manager

Waste Management (WM) seeks a Construction Sales Account Manager to grow and manage relationships with construction customers across the Houston area. In this role, you will sell waste, recycling, and sustainability solutions for job sites, from small contractors to large developers. You will prospect new business, expand existing accounts, and develop tailored service plans that prioritize safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility. Partnering closely with operations, you’ll ensure reliable service, strong customer satisfaction, and support WM’s mission of providing essential environmental services. Build and manage a portfolio of construction industry accounts within an assigned territory. Prospect and close new business with builders, contractors, and developers. Consult with customers to design waste, recycling, and sustainability solutions for job sites. Prepare proposals, bids, and contracts, negotiating pricing and service terms. Use CRM tools to track pipeline, forecast sales, and report performance. Partner with operations to ensure service quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Monitor construction market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities. Represent WM at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
