Rotating 5×8-hour shiftsShift times include:
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM9:00 AM – 7:30 PM1:30 PM – 12:00 AM9:00 PM – 7:00 AMWeekend Requirement: Same schedule as weekdaysCall Required: NoEMR:Epic (Current Epic experience required)
What You'll Need:
High School Diploma or GEDCurrentCertified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPT-I) LicenseCurrentBLS CertificationCurrentEpic experience (Required) Acute care phlebotomy experience preferredWhat You'll DoPerform venipuncture and specimen collection using age-appropriate techniquesProcess, label, accession, and prepare laboratory specimensEnter patient registrations and laboratory orders accuratelyPackage and transport specimens while maintaining specimen integrityMonitor laboratory workflow and prioritize urgent specimensAnswer laboratory calls and communicate results when appropriateMaintain inventory, documentation, and quality standardsSupport a fast-paced hospital laboratory environmentWhy You'll Love This AssignmentBeautiful Central Coast California location162-bed acute care hospitalNo call requirementOpportunity to work with an experienced laboratory teamGreat assignment for professionals with hospital lab and Epic experience
