The Senior Reserve Specialist is responsible for developing and managing the reserve fund for a community association or other organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of reserve planning principles and practices, as well as experience in preparing reserve studies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the reserve fund for the organization
- Prepare reserve studies
- Conduct research on reserve planning best practices
- Stay up-to-date on the latest reserve planning regulations and standards
- Interact with board members, property managers, and other stakeholders
- Provide financial advice and guidance on reserve planning matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field 5+ years of experience in reserve planning
- Strong understanding of reserve planning principles and practices
- Experience in preparing reserve studies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional Reserve Specialist (RS) designation from the Community Associations Institute (CAI)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
