Weekend Bakery Lead

Bittersweet Bakehouse is looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join our weekend bakery team. This is a regular Friday Sunday schedule, approximately 18.5 hours/week at $17/hour. Because we re a small bakery, reliability is our top priority we need someone our team can count on. SCHEDULEFriday 1 5 PMProduction support, finishing, packaging, and Saturday prep. Saturday 8 AM 3 PMCustomer service, sandwich preparation, stocking, packaging, and general bakery support. Sunday 7:30 AM 3 PMCustomer service, sandwiches, stocking, packaging, and daily bakery operations. From May October, you ll be the main person at the bakery while I m at the farmers market. The schedule is generally consistent, with occasional adjustments based on bakery needs. Sunday responsibilities will evolve as we transition from farmers market season to regular Sunday bakery hours. Training provided. WHAT WE RE LOOKING FORReliable and punctual our top priority Friendly, hardworking, and comfortable with customers Able to work independently and stay organized during busy periods Willing to jump in wherever needed: production, sandwiches, stocking, cleaning, opening, and customer service Food-service or bakery experience is a plus, but willingness to learn matters just as much Looking for a consistent, ongoing position Comfortable being the main bakery team member on SundaysRELIABILITY & TIME OFFWe understand that people get sick, take vacations, and need time away. We just need good communication and dependability. Because we re a small team, last-minute call-offs and frequent schedule changes are difficult to accommodate. Planned time off is absolutely possible we simply ask for as much advance notice as possible so we can arrange coverage. Our planned bakery closures include: Memorial Day weekend Fourth of July weekend Weekend after Thanksgiving Weekend after Christmas First week of January Outside of our planned closures, you re welcome to take an occasional weekend off for vacations or personal plans.
