Server Engineer - 1 Location : LA CA - look local or near

Job Description:
- Knowledge around IAM Setup for Users - User experience monitoring, Single sign on setup, Active Directory Support, Performance troubleshooting Endpoint management (thin clients, mobile devices, PCs, etc.)
- Defines the Windows desktop images standards, deployment methods and use of supporting tools and technologies
- Knowledge around Infrastructure - storage, networking, servers, load balancing, etc. Anti-virus & Profile management
- Meets key performance indicators for infrastructure, user experience, applications, storage, servers, and network components related to VDI, escalating outcomes appropriately.
- Administrative skills in managing VMware, VPN, VDI and system knowledge around configuration and monitoring of on-prem and cloud servers setup
- Identifies issues proactively using required tools. Works on automating system procedures and processes to evolve the technology in the organization.
- Contributes to knowledge base for troubleshooting and maintaining the environment.
- Provides documentation, processes and technical training to service desk and administrator level team members.
- Develop and maintain O&S Standard Operating Procedures for VDI Environment.
- Knowledge in upgradation and patching of systems and needs in the environment
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications as assigned. Virtual software provisioning skills (desired: VMware (vCloud/vCAC/vRAC)
- Deployment and configuration of host clusters, HA, vRealize Operations Manager, vSAN (Storage) and DRS.
- Design, deployment, and maintenance of Desktop Pools (either in Horizon View of Citrix XenDesktop).
- Deploy and maintain Microsoft Windows 2012 and 2016 Servers, as well as Windows 10 virtual machines.
- Hands on experience in Enterprise and Storage Management
- Experience in Enterprise VDI solutions
- Experience installing and configuring VMWare ESXi hypervisors
- Experience with Virtual Center Server Appliances
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 2012 and 2016 Servers
- Experience with OneXafe - Good to Have
- VMWare/ CCNA Knowledge - Good to Have
- Knowledge around ITIL processes and usage of ITSM tools Education and Certificates :
- Bachelor's degree required (U.G/P.G with Engineering Degree or Equivalent)
- ITCA Network and Infrastructure Certification - Good to Have
- Cloud Knowledge (AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent) - Good to Have
