IT Lab Systems Specialist

Work Schedule: Will need to support one of the following weekly schedules: Tuesday-Saturday (8am-5pm)Wednesday-Sunday (8am-5pm)Sunday-Thursday (8am-5pm)

Overview: We’re seeking an experienced Lab Support Specialist/Administrator to join the Enterprise Benchtop Services team. This position supports commercial manufacturing, laboratories, and benchtop environments, managing mission-critical systems in a GxP/GMP regulated environment. You will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Digital Tech teams to install, configure, validate, and support lab and manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities include: System Administration & Lab Support Support Windows 10/11 and Windows Server for lab and manufacturing systems Provide support LMS, ELN, and MES platforms across labs environments Provide Tier 1 and 2 technical support and troubleshooting for lab instruments and systems Coordinate anti-virus deployments, network setups (TCP/IP), and firewall configurations Project Work & Integration Drive lab data remediation efforts Collaborate with instrument vendors for system configuration, upgrades, and lifecycle support Engage in system readiness assessments, GxP validation efforts, and risk assessments Assist with Windows upgrades for GxP lab systems as needed Documentation & Compliance Document system configurations, SOPs, validation scripts, etc. Maintain accurate inventory in Service Now and align with lab asset management practices Ensure systems meet GMP, GxP, cybersecurity, and data integrity standards Track all service and support tickets in Service Now

Key Skills & Experience: Windows systems administration & desktop support (Active Directory, Windows 10/11, etc.)Lab and/or manufacturing systems support in GxP/GMP environments (LMS, ELN, MES, etc.)Understanding of networking principles and domain configurations (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)Experience with Service Now and understanding of ITIL best practices Preferred/Nice-to-

Have Qualifications: Experience with Empower LMS or similar LMS platforms for R&D manufacturing Experience with systems integration and lifecycle management in laboratory environments Knowledge of cybersecurity, firewalls, server environments, and VMware platforms Task automation via Power Shell, Batch, or other scripting tools Relevant college education and/or certifications are a plus
