Attorney Labor and Employment

Position Overview: Play a significant role in representing private and public sector employers in employment litigation matters.

Qualifications: 7+ years of California employment law experience to represent private and public employers in complex litigation, workplace investigations, and labor matters. Strong litigation, legal research, deposition, and employer counseling experience, with trial or arbitration experience preferred. Trial or arbitration experience involving: Employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims. FLSA and wage & hour claims, including class and collective actions. Legal research and analysis. Drafting motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda. Taking and defending depositions. Managing discovery. Preparing EEOC position statements and DFEH responses. Conducting witness interviews and depositions. Strong knowledge of California employment law. Excellent academic credentials. Outstanding analytical, legal research, and writing skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong client service and communication skills. Interest in growing a long-term employment law practice.
