Overview:
An established organization is seeking a Treasury Analyst to support daily cash management, liquidity planning, banking operations, and treasury accounting activities. This role will work closely with Accounting and Finance to maintain accurate cash positions, manage payments and transfers, support credit facilities, and provide timely cash flow and treasury reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts, monitoring balances and initiating transfers to maintain appropriate liquidity levels. Prepare and maintain rolling 13-week cash flow forecasts using accounts payable, accounts receivable, and operational data. Process and reconcile various payment transactions, including wire transfers, ACH payments, checks, and intercompany settlements. Administer banking structures and treasury activities, including sweep accounts, zero-balance accounts, lockbox services, and positive-pay programs. Support the administration of credit facilities, including revolving credit arrangements, borrowing base calculations, and covenant requirements. Monitor compliance with lending and banking requirements and prepare supporting schedules for periodic covenant testing. Assist with month-end close activities by reconciling treasury accounts, recording interest accruals, and analyzing bank fees and other cash-related activity. Perform daily and periodic bank reconciliations, including research and resolution of discrepancies. Utilize ERP and treasury systems to maintain accurate cash activity and support reconciliation processes Partner with Accounting, AP, AR, and other Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely cash reporting and transaction processing. Maintain organized documentation related to banking activity, credit facilities, cash forecasts, and treasury reconciliations. Identify opportunities to improve cash management processes, reporting, controls, and overall treasury efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Accounting preferred. Experience in treasury, cash management, banking operations, or corporate finance. Strong understanding of banking structures, including sweep accounts, zero-balance accounts, lockbox, and positive-pay services. Experience with wire, ACH, and check payment processing. Knowledge of revolving credit facilities, borrowing base calculations, and financial covenant requirements. Experience with ERP systems and bank reconciliation processes. Strong Excel and analytical skills with the ability to work with large amounts of financial data. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet daily and monthly deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
