Lead MRI Technologist

Methodist Health System seeks a Team Leader, MRI to oversee daily MRI operations and ensure safe, high-quality patient care. This role coordinates workflow, assigns staff, and supports MRI nurses and technologists while upholding MRI safety standards and regulatory compliance. The Team Leader provides direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring, and contrast administration, and collaborates closely with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams. Lead daily MRI operations, coordinating patient flow and staff assignments Ensure safe, high-quality MRI exams following regulatory and Methodist standards Provide direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring, and education Oversee MRI safety practices, contrast administration, and emergency response readiness Coach, mentor, and support MRI nurses and technologists in clinical practice Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Monitor quality metrics, participate in performance improvement, and update protocols Support onboarding, training, and ongoing competency validation for MRI staff Promote a culture of compassion, integrity, and accountability within the team Document care accurately in the EHR and ensure compliance with policies and regulations MRI procedures and protocols Advanced patient assessment IV insertion and contrast administration MRI safety and emergency procedures Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation Staff scheduling and supervision Quality and performance improvement Critical thinking and clinical decision-making Infection control and patient safety Interdisciplinary communication Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in TX BLS certification ACLS certification PALS certification (preferred) MRI safety training/certification ARRT (MR) certification (preferred)
