About the role

2nd Shift Glass Production Associate Production Associates help in the manufacturing and production process. This role varies based on the needs of the company and often includes operating machinery, assembling products, monitoring production lines, and conducting quality checks. This position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, problem-solving skills, and adherence to safety protocols. Assemble, fabricate, and inspect windows and doors to meet quality standards and specifications Review work orders, prepare materials, and safely operate hand tools, power tools, saws, and automated equipment Assemble components including frames, glass units, hardware, seals, and screens Operate production equipment such as saws, pneumatic tools, and welding machinery Inspect finished products and report defects or quality concerns Prepare products for shipment, including labeling, packing, and loading Participate in 5S activities and continuous improvement initiatives Contribute ideas to improve safety, quality, and efficiency Support quality standards and help ensure products meet customer requirements Work respectfully and collaboratively as part of a team Support the team in achieving production and performance targets Follow direction of leadership and continuously verify quality through measurement Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk: reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; turning or twisting; pushing; and talk or hear. The average plant temperature conditions range from 60° in the cooler months and up to 110° during the warmer months. All workstations on the plant floor require the use of protective eyewear and hearing protection; some work stations require additional safety equipment to include but not limited to gloves, aprons and arm guards. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist. Will require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for duration of shift. At least 18 years of age. Minimum of 12 months in a Manufacturing Environment.
