About the role

Quality Inspector Inspect manufactured parts for quality using visual and dimensional inspection techniques. Follow job packets, work instructions, and established quality procedures. Perform routine inspections throughout the production process. Complete box, lot, start-up, and last-shot inspections as required. Inspect products according to AQL requirements and customer specifications. Identify parts that do not meet quality requirements and assist with determining whether products should be reworked or placed on hold. Communicate quality concerns to production team members and supervisors. Participate in shift-to-shift meetings to ensure important quality information is communicated. Provide daily training and guidance to cell operators on quality and inspection requirements. Maintain accurate inspection and training documentation. Help support production goals while maintaining high quality standards. Follow GMP/GDP, safety, and 6S requirements. Report unsafe conditions and quality concerns promptly. Work as part of a team to keep the production cell running efficiently. Perform other duties as assigned. You don't need to have every qualification to be successful in this position. We're looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and committed to quality. College degree OR 4+ years of quality/manufacturing experience. Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred. Ability to carefully follow written procedures and instructions. Strong attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to identify quality issues and communicate them clearly. Commitment to workplace safety and quality. Manufacturing quality inspection. Visual and dimensional inspection. GMP/GDP practices. AQL inspection requirements. Non-conforming material procedures. 6S and GMP knowledge.
