Capital Habeas Attorney — Impactful Federal Defense

The Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Central District of California in Los Angeles is seeking full-time CHU attorneys to defend death-sentenced individuals in federal habeas proceedings. Attorneys handle all stages from pre-petition through Supreme Court and clemency, including drafting petitions, supervising teams, conducting hearings, and presenting oral arguments.
